What is the Organic Gardening magazine all about? Organic gardeners avoid the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides in favor of creating complete ecosystems which are able to thrive with a more natural approach. When this doesn't work, organic gardeners favor the least invasive man-made treatments that target specific pests or diseases. Good, organically enriched soil is the backbone of an organic garden. Other things to consider are the water supply, beneficial insects, wildlife and even people.
