The leprechauns are making plans for. Patrick's Day merriment in Wisconsin. There are several parades throughout the state. Milwaukee's grand parade will be held on March 10. The other parades listed here will be held on March 17. Plan to visit the nearest town and brighten up the winter month of March with some green.

The 2007 the 41st Annual Shamrock Club of Wisconsin's St. Patrick's Day parade will start at noon on March 10. the parade will step off at 3rd and Wisconsin, in front of the Grand Avenue mall. The parade will proceed east to Plankington, north on Plankington to Kilbourn, west on Kilbourne to Old World Third Street, north on Old World Third Street to Juneau, east on Juneau to Water Street, south on Water Street. The parade will have nearly 150 units, making it one on the largest parades in Wisconsin.

The St. Patrick's Day parade, which has been held annually since 1843, will feature floats, clowns, local politicians and celebrities, bagpipe and marching bands, Irish and Celtic organizations. The Irish Honorees and Guest of Honor include the Shamrock Club Irishman of the Year, Irish Rose, and Parade Marshall.The city has been celebrating with the St. Patrick's Day Parade since 1843. The Shamrock Club has been sponsoring it for 41 years.

New London
Leprechaun's Magically Change Town's Name to New Dublin for a Week
According to the New Dublin website, the Leprechauns plan to change the name of the town from New London to New Dublin on March 12. The town's name change will remain New Dublin for a week. Corned beef and cabbage will be served at local restaurants all week long. Entertainment during the week will consist of Irish Caroling, and Irish Music.

On Friday, March 16, Finnegan's Wake (parody of an Irish funeral) will be held at Pup's Irish Pub. Crystal Falls Banquet Hall will have an Irish Ceili, a traditional gathering of friends and family.

Saturday, March 17,
1:00 PM St. Patrick's Day Parade in downtown New Dublin
Parade features marching and bagpipe bands, clan and business floats. Over 100 units.
