A Special Inclusion That's Meant to Be Shared
This was a short article that I had written before and submitted as a volunteer for a racing site. I wanted to include it here so that it could be shared with those you love and care about. I had originally received itWhen I had found this in my email box, by an author unknown, which was sent as a FWD from a friend, I felt that it was exactly how many were feeling not only here in the States, but also in the Countries who had also endured losses when that dark day happened. I submit it here now the way it was when I first wrote the article. Nothing in it has changed, so of course no date is listed. I left it that way as a reminder to us how much of ourinnocence had been lost on 9/11 and how things are now, in this present time.

Last Christmas
C.S. - TR Staff
Around this time of the year we are either making plans to visit family and friends for the holidays or just hanging around at home making the best of the holidays that we can, with those who are nearest to us.
This year however is obviously different for one too many reasons. And therefore our priorities are a lot more stronger and meaningful. I recently received a special email from a close friend of mine in NYC that really capped off what this Holiday Season is going to mean to everyone.
I'm quite sure that you may have seen this before.. but just in case you haven't I'm sharing it now.... and if you want to, send it on to others.
1. Last Christmas we were thinking about all the things we didn't have. This Christmas we are thinking about all the things we do have.
2. Last Christmas we were placing wreaths on the doors of our homes. This Christmas we are placing wreaths on the graves of our heroes.
3. Last Christmas we were letting our sons play with toy guns. This Christmas we are teaching them that guns are not toys.
4. Last Christmas we were counting our money. This Christmas we are counting our blessings.

- Celebrate the true meaning of the holidays and include those who are far away from you
- Keep in your mind the reasons this Country remains free, regardless to what others might say.
- Nothing is forever, so make it a daily ritual to show your loved ones how much they mean to you.
