How Has Cheating Become Acceptable?

For this topic it is good to start with foundation. Our foundation as Americans is on the Bible. Our country was founded on what was supposed to be morals from the church. Today that foundation has crumbled. Evidence is making me gasp for air for anything that once was good. At only 19 years old, I am cleaner in many more ways than those older than me. I have done my share of bad things, but when it comes to marriage and cheating, or rather cheating in general lines in this country have become askew-ed.

The Bible sees fondness of one other than your spouse cheating. This means that if a man or woman looks at another person to check them out, think about being with them inappropriately, or just them as a whole as more than another person standing there, they are committing adultery if marriage. I will go a step further and say dating and such should be implied too. Longing for someone other than one you are with is lustful and extremely sinful in the eyes of God. I do realize not everyone has the same God, but doesn't everyone think they derive their morals from there? If not, where do morals come from?

In today's world morals are not the same as they once were. Now they are twisted like a tall tale. Marriage means nothing to most people in this country. The divorce rate continues to rise and I bet it has something to do with the falling shambles which once used to be morals. Morals are not taken into light until something comes up such as marriage between man and man or woman and woman. I remember thinking when it was all over the news that this is ridiculous. People do things to others everyday and do not think about their actions, but when the opportunity comes up to judge another person everyone is all for it. I do not believe in gays marrying; however, I do believe they should be given a choice. Women are allowed to decided whether to kill their young everyday, so why can't two people get married?
