Howard Stern, the original shock jock, who can be heard on Sirius Satellite radio, announced on air on Wednesday February 14, 2007, that he and girlfriend, Beth Ostrosky are engaged.

Whoever said Howard Stern wasn't a true romantic?

Details of the engagement have not been revealed, except that Howard Stern said he "surprised" his girlfriend Beth Ostrosky with an engagement ring while they were naked in bed. Romantic, yes. Pure Howard? Absolutely.

Stern had previously stated that he, believed a marriage to Ostrosky would only mess up a good thing and that he was happy to leave things the way they were.

The fact that Howard Stern is engaged and has plans to re-marry, after his 2001 divorce is encouraging to any woman dating a divorced male that religiously listens to Howard Stern. If Howard Stern can take another plunge.....maybe other divorce-traumatized guys will follow suit.

Of course, most women aren't exactly drop-dead gorgeous models like Howard Stern's now fiancee, Beth Ostrosky.

She has also starred in feature films. Beth Ostrosky had a role in the Ben Stiller/Alan Alda/Mary Tyler Moore vehicle, Flirting With Disaster. In a movie to be released in 2007, Beth Ostrosky can seen alongside Joe Piscopo and George Wendt, in the upcoming comedy Saturday Morning.
