Having been unemployed/underemployed not too long ago, and having been a student prior to that, I know a thing or two about making a dollar stretch. However, stretching a dollar too far leads to it snapping back and hitting you in the face!

This is where it helps to have two dollars, or even three. But how can this happen?

Obviously, you are already working as hard as you can at your current job(s). If you submit articles to Associated Content for payment, you're already making some extra cash as it is. However, you're probably budgeted down to the last penny nonetheless. Maybe you are making ends meet, but there is nothing left over at the end of the month for even a small outing to Wendy's. While I do not offer any sort of get-rich-quick scheme here, I do have a few tips and tricks on making a bit of extra dough with little (or some) effort. These methods may even become your personal hobbies, helping you achieve grander goals such as a trip to some remote destination, or a fancy dinner for two at a posh restaurant, or that digital camera you (insert I) have been drooling over. In this article, I've outlined four money-making ventures of mine, and how much I've managed to accumulate during the process.

1. Ebay. I'm sure that, by now, everyone and their dog has heard of Ebay, the world's largest garage sale. Almost anything you can imagine is sold here, from Wrinkles(R) dogs to first-run editions of Playboy(R) magazine. The volume of merchandise listed and sold on Ebay is beyond comprehension: for the fourth quarter of 2006 alone, the value of merchandise sold on Ebay totaled over 14 billion dollars.
