Easter in Miami is a lively, happy medley of events all over the city. Events cover Easter egg hunts, parades, brunches and special concerts. It's a born party town and Easter is another season of parties and celebrations. I found some that have been traditional and a few unusual ones too.Key Biscayne's putting on its annual Easter egg hunt at their Seaquarium on Easter weekend, Fri-Sun. from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. They've face-painting as well as the hunt, and a bounce house will be a way for kids to jiggle and bounce away to their hearts' content. Their web site may not list this event yet, so it's definitely important to call them and see when they're going to open their doors for it this year and other information: 305-361-5705.
The Blue Door at Delano will be a perfect spot for having an Easter Sunday Brunch. It's upscale and expensive, yes, but for those who view Easter as another chance to get sight of some celebrities, Easter Brunch may be a god "spotting" time for it.. The famous South beach restaurant has a perfect outdoor verandah with its garden view and the lovely plantings is a great place to enjoy an after-church meal that is typically tropical French cuisine. So for a rich celebratory brunch, this is the place to be. It is definitely for deep pockets, so take your wife or sweetheart here and she will be eternally grateful.
