You can't top the beauty or action of "The World's Most Beautiful Beaches." Once a popular family destination filled with mom and pop hotels and motels, Panama City has become a luxurious destination with beautiful, clean condominiums available in a variety of price ranges. In most cases you can stay right on the beach. Most of the new condominiums have only ocean view rooms. If you want to save a little money, you may find one on the front of a facility that doesn't overlook the ocean. In my opinion, if you don't wake up to the gently rolling waves right outside your window, you may as well stay home.

Day or night, there is plenty to do. The beaches are a sun worshiper's delight. The sand and the crystal clear waters work together to reflect the sunlight giving you a quick, perfect tan. A little tanning in advance may help prevent scorching for the fair complected. Second and third degree sunburns will spoil your spring-break in a bad way. A bad sunburn feels like an attack by a million porcupines. Plan ahead for your skin type by picking the right SPF and you will walk away with a golden glow.

If you don't want to be bothered carrying lawn chairs, or shaking off sandy towels, rent a couple ocean front chairs for the week. If you are staying more than a couple of days, haggle a little to get the best price. They'd much rather have your money, than empty chairs. Use your bargaining power. Life is easy when all you have to do is throw on your swimsuit and head to your beach chair every morning, after a night on the town. You can sleep all day in the sun, if you want to. A hot, tanned local will attend to your needs: adjust your chairs, re-position your umbrella, or provide a little company during the long hot day.
