Sharp's 63rd Street Grill
This has got to be one of Brookside's most popular breakfast spot on the weekends. Every time we've stopped in on a Sunday morning, we've had to wait in a long line. Is it the food, the ambiance, the location that attracts the crowds? Probably all of the above.
Despite a bad economy, crowds continue to pile into Sharp's in Kansas City. The crowd is upbeat, young and hip. The food complements hungry stomachs, no matter the age.
For breakfast, you can get your favorites: chicken fried steak & eggs, the Sharp's Brookside Benedict - a grilled English muffin with the benedict special, an Eggwich, French Toast, biscuits and gravy and many other selections to satisfy your breakfast desires. For the omelet lover, you can't go wrong with Sharp's omelet menu. They bring the world to you with Greek omelets loaded with feta cheese, red onion, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and olives; a Midwestern omelet to fill the Midwestern appetite, a Meyer Boulevard omelet with diced potatoes, onions, artichoke hearts and mushrooms, topped with melted Pepper Jack cheese. There are close to dozen omelets from which to choose!
For breakfast, you can build your own plate of all your favorite breakfast ingredients, cooked to your preference and taste. Sharp's has great cooks and servers who prepare items just like you ask. It's impressive and probably another reason it's such a popular and booming restaurant in the Brookside, Kansas City neighborhood.
If you happen to go in late morning and can't decide what to eat, you can always let their menu tempt you towards their lunch menu. From their famous sandwiches and wraps, to their scrumptious pizzas and soups, Sharp's has it all. They have fantastic appetizers that are a meal in themselves and specialty items that will make eating out worth every penny you spend.
Sharp's is moderately priced on most items, but slightly higher on others. Most people enjoy spending time relaxing after their meals, though the lines may give you a dirty look if you don't get going!
