Britney Spears Enters Rehab

Following months of tabloid scandals and wild partying, Britney Spears has finally decided to enter a rehabilitation facility. Reports of her decision came shortly after she was last seen four days ago, leaving New York City on a private jet with her two young boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James. According to television program, "Extra", Spears has until recently, been missing in action with regard to the paparazzi.

Hints that Britney's partying habits were more of a problem than a novelty were first dropped by her estranged husband, Kevin Federline. Shortly after the New Year (2007), he urged her to seek help, citing that she was rarely available to spend time with her own children. But at the time, Britney blew off his remarks and continued on her blazing trail of amusement.

BRIT'S PROBLEMS...

But others have also expressed concern for her well-being. Amongst those concerned is her former assistant of almost ten years, Felicia Culotta. The assistant lamented in a public letter, how "crushed" she is to see the path that Britney is on. She states in her letter:

" [I] am crushed/saddened/heart sick by the way her life is unfolding..."

She continued on, explaining both she and Britney's family have had hopes of getting her some much needed help.

Others close to Britney speculate that she may run into custody problems during the divorce proceedings, if she continues on the way she has. There have also been reports that Britney is again failing to secure her children properly in their car seats. Though there is no documented proof of this occuring recently, Us Weekly Senior Editor, Albert Lee has claimed that Britney has in fact been driving her vehicle with youngest son, Jayden James, facing the incorrect way (forward). Further smearing her reputation are accusations that she has engaged in multiple lesbian affairs inside the household during the course of her marriage to Kevin Federline. Recently splitting with latest boyfriend, model Isaac Cohen, Britney has allegedly had a string of lovers since her November 7^th split with Federline.
