Sylvia Browne is a renowned psychic and spiritual teacher who has appeared numerous times on The Montell Williams Show and Larry King Live. During her appearances, Browne answers questions from the audience about lost loved ones, dead loved ones, and/or psychic predictions. Because of the overwhelming accuracy of her predictions, Browne now has thousand upon thousand of followers. She has also written several books that have consistently been #1 New York Times Best Sellers.

Whether Browne is indeed truly gifted is up to each individual to decide for themselves. I will say however, that no one can be a believer in Sylvia Browne if there is no belief in the afterlife and with psychics in general. As far as myself, I tend to have an open mind and can believe many of things that Browne says. Yet there are other things that make me a bit skeptical as well. The following paragraphs list some of Browne's most popular beliefs. Hopefully, individuals that do not know much about Browne and what she represents will come away with an idea and be able to formulate an opinion on their own .

Spirit Guides

Browne insists that every person has a Spirit Guide that is around them, and looking after them all the time. Spirit Guides are spiritual entities that have chosen to help you while you are away at school. According to Browne, Earth is merely just a school where we all come to learn lessons before returning to home to the Spirit world. Browne claims that we choose our Spirit Guides and they choose us before we decide to come to Earth. Even though not everyone can hear or see their Guides, Browne assures us all that they are always there. Browne states that she talks to her Spirit Guide daily, and can even have her Spirit Guide come into her body and use her body as an insturment to speak to others that don't have the ability to talk to their own Guide.

I don't like Sylvia at all. She is definitely a fraud and her references to "angels" and "spirit guides" of seemingly Christian origin should be your first clue since no such thing exists in larger religious groups (i.e., Bhuddism). Does this mean that everyone who isn't Christian is somehow excluded from the "school of life"? It just doesn't seem right. Furthermore, I wish Montel would stop bringing her on his show because no one wants to hear the same questions over and over again: 1) Will I ever get married? 2) Will I be financially successful? 3) What career should I choose? 4) Does my (loved one) come around me? 5) When am I going to have kids & how many? BO-RING!!!! Besides, I think she's taking advantage of desperate, impressionable people who, more likely than not, could use some real, professional help (like grief counseling). mizu, i promise you sylvia is a fake! i use to believe in her but if you read my comment under the name taylor all your answers will be there, and her accuracy, there is no accuracy, if you take the time to check through the net not her web site, but check to read about people who had readings with her and you'll be surprise to see lots believed in her until they personally found out the hard way. check through the net, type in- sylvia fake or fraud and see what comes up. Yes I still believe in the supernatural and psychic too, but not her, and a word of wisdom, don't base your believes on what any psychic believes, just cause ther psychic, doesn't mean they are a saint, that they know the answers to life's hard questions, they go by what they see, feel, and believe- according to there preception. - taylor...

Hi, i've seen , read, and watched her do what she does, i was once a believer in her, yes, i had faith in her, but i later found out by searching the net and reading about people's readings with syliva, and her price $700 dollars for 10 to 20 mins, and her book tours $1,000 dollars, She Is A FAURD! if you read the transcipts online on larry king, or montel, it appears shes doing cold reading, if you don't know what this means, look it up later, You need to do research on her if you disbelief what i/m telling You! check on wwww. quack watch.com, and check any other web site like this. How i changed my mind about her was when i found out from my mom who found out from her mother that she saw on tv where a childs parents who were on montel asking syliva were there child was, ( there child was missing), and syliva told them who kidnapped there child and where he would be, and i think my mom said that syliva told them that the child was dead, then came the moment of tr

Hi I really want to know how to contact your spirit guide. I couldn't find it in one of Silvia Browns books so how do you see them and talk to them? My mother said that you have to ask the Holy spirit, God, and Jesus if you can see your spirit guide and talk to him/her. You can only do it before you go to bed or just at night though. Is that true? If not, please tell me how to contact your spirit guide.

I am not a true fan of Sylvia"s she is very cold and too machanical in her answers, I am also a psychic and in good standing, I am not always 100% accurate because its not an exact thing. However I do feel and hurt for people and would certinaly not be as blunt as she is sometimes when it comes to missing people and death of someone close. I believe she has lost her true reason for doing the readings ect. and its a money thing for her now. I am not sure how any one can charge $700 for a reading. I do many reading for free and for a small fee and have never charged when I am involed in working on missing people ect. please for anyone who believes we are a fake, WE all are not my site is bonniethewpsychic.com feel free to comment.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON HER PHONE READINGS WITH HER AND HER SON CHRIS. I WAS A FOOL TO DO SO. NOTHING THAT SHE TOLD ME OR HER SON TOLD ME CAME TO PASS. NOT EVEN THE MAJOR ILLNES THEY BOTH MISSED. HOWEVER, AS THEIR OFFICE STAFF WILL SAY STOCK ANSWER "JUST BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T LIKE WHAT YOU WERE TOLD". I LIKED IT FINE BUT NOT A DAMN THING EVER CAME TRUE FOR ME. THEY AREN'T WORTH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. ONE GOOD THING FROM HER BOOKS IS --MOTHER GOD.

Sylvia Brown is wonderful. I believe in her because when I read her book I know in my heart this is the truth and I never felt that way threw anything else I have studied or read... such as... well "The Bible" Which I believe is very misinterpreted.

dear silvia brown my name is lisa cox from nj in 1995 my grandmother died i never got to say how much she ment to me i had a good friend who lived across that died i took care of him when his family could care less i would like to no if there around me i want to tell how much i love both of there i ask if my husband will get his papers soon

Silvia gets cranky when she has to answer the same question 10 million times. I've heard some idiots ask the same question 3 times on the same show. Hello weren't you listening to the first 2 idiots that asked if their loved one is happy on the other side. As for the money Silvia does alot for charities and she pays the ministers salarys and office staff etc etc. I've followed Silvia for years and I was a skeptic. She has helped me beyond belief . So don't let the naysayers get to you. Ignore them do your own research and make up your own mind. I suggest that u read the revised edition of the bible by Dr. George M. Lamsa it was translated by a group of experts that actually speaks Aramaic the language that the bible was written in. There are so many mistranslations in the popular bibles it's appalling. If you follow Jesus's teachings not the church dogma and the archiac rules made up by men 500 years after the death of Christ you'll be fine.

Because New Testament provides examples of Jesus actually casting out evil spirits, "demons"; I was shocked when Sylvia stated emphatically that there are no such things as demons. Who is right? I'll opt for our Lord's descriptions, thank you!

I don't know...Sylvia seems to be accurate a lot. She seems to come off as really blunt though too. I found it kind of rude to just cut people off with real questions. As for all of your stands on Biblical Hell and God..and her having a man-made beliefe...I'd like to say that before a certain group of Humans, God was a very unfamiliar Idea..I mean of course there were the ideas of multiple gods....So maybe all of that God stuff is man made too =) I never saw an animal attend church. I know there's some kind of God watching over everything..but to beat other people down for something? That's truly not Christian...Picking on others for what they love and believe in..is not Christian. Christians who believe in God know that forgiveness is the right way. Others just get protective and derogatory. Sorry..haha..I guess I went off on a tangent. I just had this thought and wanted to share it.
