Free Printable Castles: Cut and Paste Activities

Cut and paste activities make ideal educational tools. Cut and paste crafts are also lots of fun! My free printable activities blog is very popular, which leads me to believe that other parents, teachers, homeschoolers and crafters enjoy cut and paste activities as much as I do. Being a free printable diva, I check for free internet printables when I need crafts, projects, lessons or activities. The other day our youngest asked for a free printable castle coloring page. She wanted coloring pages with some challenge. Not only did we find her some castle coloring pages, we found cut and paste castles as well.

Scribd.com is a great resource for free printable crafts. Gamemaker has created a 13 page free printable castle(click here to visit) model. Perfect for dioramas, medieval studies, history class and rainy day fun. My daughter made a 3D model medieval abbey from waffle boxes and this castle would have been a perfect addition. The castle model is labeled accurately with keep, towers, gate house, merlons and flags. Castle is neatly drawn to scale, includes user-friendly instructions that are perfect for all ages. Not too wordy but complete. I think even I, art challenged as I am, could master this cool castle! Thank you gamemaker.

Gamemaker has also made a cut and paste model of Neushwanstein Castle in the Clouds in Germany. This castle is more baroque and later medieval. Again, gamemaker has made it easy for those of us who find cut and paste activities challenging. Anybody out there like me who got a little nervous when teacher said we had to make a diorama? Walls falling down, cats running in fear as glue bottles and scissors flew through the air. I think with these user-friendly castle models I could maybe put those nightmares behind me and have success! For more cool medieval stuff, you can visit the gamemaker at his website Storm the Castle (click here).
