Review: Tucker the Turtle

Tucker the turtle is a great toy for children up to 24 months of age. It's a very soft toy and the back contains a mirror which small babies love. The toy can be purchased from Toys R Us for $12.99. The arms and the head tuck inside the turtle shell. The toy is very cute and clips on to everything such as a car seat or high chair. It's a very nice and durable toy and my daughter has put it through its trials. Any toy that can withstand her abuse is definately a well made toy. I would rate the toy a 9 out of 10. The only problems I have with the toy is it's price and the fact that you have to push the arms and head inside the shell. I thought that if you pulled the head that the arms would tuck in, but I made mistaken.

The toy is a very well made toy overall. I would purchse the toy again if I had the chance to. Out of the alls I have purchased this toy is free from stains and damages to this day. The mirrors usually fall off all the toys, but not this one. Tucker the Turtle was made by Lamaze. They make the highest quality toys I have seen which makes up for the high price. Nothing has fallen off this toy and it looks like brand new. The toy also makes jingly noises and crinkling sounds as well as squeaks. It has a baby proof mirror located on the backside of the turtle. It's not a regular mirror, but a plastic mirror. This way the child can hit it on anything and everything and it will still stay on!

The toy is green with a lifelike turtle face. It has a purple shell with orange and yellow polka dots. It's a very colorful toy, which is another reason that kids really enjoy playing with Tucker the turtle. Each foot has a different texture and feel to it. One foot is also used an a teether for chewing on. Babies love to put everything in their mouths and chew on it. You will be completely satisfied with Tucker the Turtle and he won't be able to hurt your child. You can bring it with you on trips and strap it to the car seat so that your kid cannot throw it on the floor. Both legs have clips which can be hooked onto the car seat.
