The second season started out fine, with the introduction of Desmond and all. But then, it turned into something...generically weird. There was a button that had to be pressed after the person entered a code of numbers that seemed to had caused Hurley bad luck after he won the lottery using those same numbers. Then, there were the "tailies" that were led by Ana Lucia, who seemed to be trigger happy and suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. Then, there was Henry Gale, whom Sayid whooped the spit out of and whom tried to kill Ana Lucia. Let's not forget about Michael's going postal and betraying everyone, killing two of the head women of the "tailies" and then shooting himself. And can somebody please tell me why Claire's baby is so special? Jack's diminishing good nature became a slight turn-off for me, but I still tuned in because I was still hopeful for him and Kate. The end of the second season was a complete disappointment, with the Others kidnapping Jack, Kate and Sawyer and the three toed foot statue and Michael literally riding off into the sunset with his son.
