Organizational Culture Based on Various Scenarios

Introduction

Organizational culture and human behavior, overall, are some elements of the organization's behavior as a whole. Organizational behavior can be a study of how individuals, people, and groups act in an organization, that is, it interprets people-organization relationships in terms of the whole person, whole group, whole organization, and whole social system (Clark, 2000). Culture and human behavior influences the failure or success of projects. Whether the culture and behaviors were developed from the missions and vision of the organization, or simply developed by leaders thoughts and opinions, it is important for managers to always maintain a compatible team/culture/behavior, to ensure success.

How does organizational culture influence the selection, sponsorship, prioritization, and ultimate success of projects? In what ways could organizational culture create conditions that could lead to the scenario described above?

Taking a look at the various sponsorship who are a part of this project, it is fair to say that those involved may feel somewhat confused and lack confidence that this project will run smoothly. If sponsorship are not maintained, this can create a higher budget, longer time lines, and plenty of failure through the course of the project. This will also create set backs to the various tasks that have been prioritized and may cause lack of common knowledge and responsibilities amongst all those involved in the project.
