It is said that George Bush used to call Karl Rove turd blossom. For those who are unaware the term refers to a flower that grows out of a cow paddy. Now that Karl Rove has largely receded into the background, it appears that Rush Limbaugh has become either the turd in the punch bowl or the turd blossom. Or both.
The problem with many of Rush Limbaugh's critics is that most of them are liars and saboteurs. They have always detested and distrusted conservatism and are actively seeking to undermine or destroy it. No intellectually honest Republican should trust or follow the advice of anyone who states or implies that Republicans ought to be more like Democrats. If people want someone who is more like a Democrat let them vote for a Democrat. Who actually wants Democrat Lyte when you can have the real thing?
