Be aware of the specific qualities that you are looking for in someone. Ask yourself if you would like to find a friend and sex partner, or someone who is looking for a serious, exclusive type of committed relationship, which may lead to marriage and children. When you specifically describe who you're looking for in your profile, be sure that you are clear about what in particular will make them compatible with you. Read several profiles on the different sites that you initially sign with, in order to get ideas on how to word, and present yours.
