The Chicago Parade is famous for it's pre-parade event of dyeing the Chicago River green. The Chicago parade will be nationally televised, for people who wish to view it from the comfort of their living rooms. Meanwhile, over on the western side of the state, another unique parade will take place in the Quad Cities area. Their one of a kind parade takes place on the Interstate Highway. This parade starts in Rock Island, Illinois and ends in Davenport, Iowa. This interstate parade is the only parade of it's kind in the USA.
