Acne is a painful condition that may brings many feelings, but loneliness is the one that most makes its' victim wish that the acne would go away. Sometimes, it feels that you are the only one suffering with the disease. However, in reality, millions across the United States and over the world have to endure the harsh reality that comes from acne.
As if facial acne wasn't enough, it is even worse when the acne spreads to other parts of the body. This makes the acne very difficult to treat. For example, trying to treat acne on the back or the shoulders would be very hard considering the fact that the skin in that portion of the body is quite thick.
Besides the thickness of the skin in the back, there are sebaceous glands that are engaged in the production of oil, which increases the acne's severity. Adolescence also increases the frequency and magnitude of acne, as the onset of puberty triggers the production of sebaceous glands. This contributes to the increase in oil which penetrates through the opening of the skin, commonly referred to as the pore.
Often, people will use facial acne soap to treat the acne on the body. However, this will not be effective because of the thickness of the skin. Also, it is quite possible that acne on the back forms by carrying things such as backpacks.
Whether the acne is on the face or on the back (or anywhere else, for that matter), the bacteria can contribute the tissues to inflame which then causes even more acne to form. However, it is significant to note that the production of oil and the onset of acne varies from individual to individual. The reason for this is that each person responds differently to the buildup of bacteria and sebum (natural oil) overproduction. What one eats can also have a significant impact on acne breakout.
