South Florida is a major mixing pot, incorporating people of all races, religions, sizes and interests. Although our baseball team isn't always popular with the locals, but certain people will still be watching MLB on opening day. Provided are some of the best sports bars in Pompano Beach, Florida, to do just that.

Jesse's Xtreme Sports Bar off Atlantic Blvd and the intercoastal bridge is a great little sports bar to watch The Marlins on April 6th for their opening game against Washington. The bar is quite large inside, with televisions everywhere, and a good selection of beer and wine (sorry boys, they don't serve the hard stuff). All Stars Sports Bar & Grill in Pompano is a really fun and exciting bar. They have TVs all over, as well, and host bands, djs and contests different nights of the week to kind of get you--pumped up. The staff is always very friendly, and they do allow smoking inside. They have a full bar here, liquor included, and the prices aren't bad. This would be a great place to watch the opening game, especially if you're located near by--All Stars is located on the NW corner of Powerline & Sample in the plaza. Bru's Room is rapidly becoming a local favorite, due to their locations popping up all over South Florida. The food is great, as I am a big fan of the deep fried buffalo style chicken livers on their menu, and the waitstaff is always cute and helpful. It gets crowded though, so you have to get there a little bit early for the game. This Bru's Room that I speak of is located off Federal Hwy, South of Atlantic Blvd on the West side of the road.
