A Theme for Your Wedding

When you are planning the wedding of your lifetime, thee are several things that you might want to keep in mind. First of all, you should talk about finding a theme for your wedding day that you can use to incorporate everything about your wedding into one idea. The theme should be something that is important to both you and your spouse to be. Think of all of the things that you have enjoyed talking about and doing during your time together. Do both of you play sports? Is there a situation in which you can be found rooting for the same type of team or at the same type of event? Are you both into music or the arts? Is there something that is common with both of your families that you can use as a theme?

Many times, people talk about what colors they want to use for their wedding. The theme should be something that the colors can be incorporated in to. Try to find a theme that you can really use to bring both of you together. It can even be something like an era in time that both of you appreciate. There are so many things that you can then plan around your theme, such as decorations, music, or different pieces of art that really speak to who both of you are. Your theme should be something that both of you enjoy, hold close to your heart, and will cherish in your memories for years and years to come.

After you have chosen a theme, you need to think about the colors that you'd like to see incorporated in the wedding. This kind of thinking can be done well in advance of the actual wedding planning, because you can have colors in mind long before you need to have anything else arranged. Try to pick colors that are pleasing to both of you, even if the majority of the colors will be scene in the bridesmaid dresses. If you feel as though you'd like to choose a certain color, be sure to ask your husband to be if he has any objections. Even if you feel that the colors should be the bride's job, think about having to spend the best day of your life surrounded by a color you hate. No matter how much you love something, make sure it is alright with him before you go ahead and pick it!
