Green Tea is not for everyone; however, Green Tea does have some special components that will enable you to lose weight at a rapid pace, faster than the average person maintaining a program of exercise and health foods. One of the reasons that Green Tea is not for everyone is because it does contain
caffeine. Therefore, if you are allergic to caffeine, unfortunately, you cannot have this Tea. But there are a plethora of weight loss supplements out there, making Green Tea not the only one that will help you in your weight loss goal.

Some researchers actually suggest drinking Green Tea for your health whether or not you are planning on trying to lose weight. Tea, in general, is a healthy product to consumer, but Green Tea has been shown to prevent Alzheimer's disease in some people. Research has been done to endorse this belief. So maybe including Green Tea in your diet is not such a bad idea after all! However, there are other things that this type of Tea also does. For example, it will help to boost your immune system by giving your T-cells a jolt. These T-cells are involved in fighting foreign pathogens that are responsible for giving you that nasty cold and flu around the sickness season of the year, especially the long winter months.

So how does Green Tea help you lose weight, exactly? The answer is pretty simple: it increases your metabolic rate. If you are planning on exercising throughout the week or even at the end of the day, drinking Green Tea several hours before will give you that added boost to your immune system, as well as giving your metabolism a boost! Also, considering that you continue burning calories for awhile after finishing your exercise program for the day, you'll be burning them at an even faster rate because of the Green Tea that you consumed earlier that day!
