As an avid Atlanta Braves fan, I keep up with the team year round. I sit at my computer almost daily checking to see who was released, signed or traded. All of this is for me to try and predict, mainly with my own mind, how my team will do during the coming season.

And now here we are at the start of Spring Training, with most of the transactions of the offseason complete, and the majority of the players having gathered to the site of their team's spring training facility. I can now sit and size up my team, and more easily predict how their season will be. In this article, I will write of the Atlanta Braves outfielders. I'll review the team as a whole, singling out certain individuals to review along the way. This is my way of showing my predictions for the 2007 Atlanta Braves Major League Baseball team's season. Let's get started.

What can I say about the center fielder, Andrew Jones. That man is amazing! Not only is he an amazing outfielder, but he is one of the top hitters in the National League. With many gold gloves in the past, he should easily add another this season. My prediction is that he will hit at least 45 home runs, and have well over 100 RBI's this season.

Jeff Francoeur. He is a young player, now going to be in his third full year in the big leagues, and he is set to shine. In years past he has impressed, but this year I predict that he will wow everyone with an amazing year. He is the Braves' right fielder.

The left field position is the only one open going into the spring training, and it is likely that the Braves will continue to platoon players in the position. Matt Diaz proved himself capable as he hit well and played mostly solid defense last season. Ryan Langerhans also has proven himself, but seems to be a much better fielder than hitter. Add in Craig Wilson and you have yourself one heck of outfield platoon system. Things are looking good in the Atlanta outfield.
