Many people use Mp3 players, but did you know that you could have not only songs, pictures and movies on your Ipod, but also books. If you are interested in listening to that book you have been meaning
to read but just couldn't find the free time to do, here is your answer. Many people seem to listen to their Ipod's while commuting to work, school or simply waiting for an appointment. If you find yourself in this type of situation instead of listening to new tunes you can expand your brain and learn useful knowledge to expand your brain. If you would like to know how to get audio books onto your Ipod look no further! The following will help you get on your way to adding audio books, basically books on tape to your Ipod libraries.

Step 1: iTunes

- It is very important to make sure that you have and use the latest version of iTunes, usually there are reminders that Apple will send out. Many times I noticed various pop-up windows notifying me to update to the latest version of iTunes.

Step 2: iTunes Store

- Now that you have the latest version, you can search the iTunes store, if you do not know how to locate the iTunes store it is placed in a list, that is located on the left hand side. You then click "itunes" Click the "Home" icon near the top should you not see the iTunes store main page.

STEP 3:
Select Audio books

-Now where it says "Audio books." make sure you click there. This should be in a panel on the left under the heading "iTunes Store."

STEP 4:
Browse.

- This is where you can look for particular books and search for one that fits your tastes. If they do not have the book that you intended here is a list of the books that they do offer. There will be a list of top rated or the featured audio books. If you go ahead and click on some of the ones that stand out to your interest you will find more information about the author and the book itself. It is a helpful tool, the more information the better. Considering that you pay money it is important to know as much as you can about something that is of interest to you.

STEP 5:
Search

Jeff - As long as you don't broadcast or redistribute any content that you download and convert to speech you are fine. It is analogous to printing out a web page to read offline. nyjdmr - Text2Go only runs on your PC. It doesn't contain any malware or advertising. It is only available from the Text2go website. What gets transferred to your iPod is a standard audio file, just like a song or audio book. Thank you for your great questions. I will include this information on my website.

If you are using a Windows PC, you can also listen to eBooks or any text from the web using Text2Go. Text2Go allows you to quickly and easily capture text from the web, convert it to speech and transfer it to your iPod. Have a look at http://www.text2go.com
