Since 9/11 Americans have been on alert to the real risks terrorist pose. The attack on 9/11 profoundly changed my life as I am sure it did yours. After 9/11 one c
ould not look upon society and culture the same. America and its citizenry lost the innocence of just being carefree, just being able to come and go at ones whim - to be free now we had to really care and take note of how despicable and vile the 9/11 attacks were. To this day I still cry for the thousands lost and the families and friends left behind. Lives taken carelessly, recklessly, with no thought other than to kill.

It is amazing, ad least to me how many people tried to justify the 9/11 attack by implying we did something wrong- or that we somehow deserved it. No one deserves to be terrorized and killed. No one deserves the evil that al-Qaeda spreads in the name of their god. What kind of God tells you to kill your neighbor? Certainly not the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Unfortunately, Christianity has in part fed into the anti-Semitism surrounding Israel and the Jews. In fact, Christianity has been de-Judeaized - yet it is Christianity that is an extension of Judaism, not visa versa.

The idiosyncrasies in Islam are monumental in comparison to other religions. First of all, Mohammed was epileptic; he was a pedophile - with a wife as young as six-consummating the marriage when she was nine. He would have been jailed by today's' standards - and even then, this behavior was looked upon with abhorrently.

Islam is also known for what their Koran says, "Kill the people of Saturday and Sunday" - in other words kill the Jews and Christians. There is no tolerance-just oppression and fear. In Islam one either chooses to live by the sword or to die by the sword, but either way one must know that in Islam the sword is ever present.

I like this Timothy Sexton. He Basically shut up her after his second comment! This article is again stereotypical, and Islam is not spread by the sword. In fact, Muhammad(S) walked into Makkah which was at the time land for non-Muslims, and the WHOLE CITY convert without any sword being raised. It was not fear but sympathy and love that did this, for the people saw how great people the Muslims were and how great the prophet was. It people like you that give Islam a worst name aside from those people who are considered terrorist, for misunderstanding the Quran. Also, I not going to justify suicide bombers for blowing thing up but! Let me just say, What is democracy? Do you believe in fighting for democracy? Democracy is a form of government which when America was established, 5000 people died in the Revolutionary war, for the sake of Democracy,(A TYPE OF GOVERNMENT) Now, Shariah, which is the supreme way of life in Islam, where religion is incorporated into government. Timothy Sexton: I'm a 19 year old African-American Muslim, and I just want to say thank you.

Layla, you poor misguided illogical illiterate ignorant woman: Muslims already consider Jesus as the Messiah or "The Annointed One" (cf. Qur'an, Surah 4.157, 4.171)! There is NO NEED to convert Muslims! Muslims already believe that Isa/Jesus was a Muslim (ie: One who SUBMITS to God). Muslims revere Mohammed as The Final Prophet and Messenger, they revere Jesus as a Prophet and Messenger and "The Annoined One", BUT they do not worship either of these two men. That is reserved for Allah (God). Muslims revere Jesus and refer to him as Hazrat Isa (His Eminence, Jesus), or, Isa alayhee-was-sallaam (Jesus, Peace Be Upon Him). BTW, the KKK, your ideologial cousins, also call themselves X-tians. Did you know THAT?

Posted on 03/07/2007 at 3:03:00 AM

Layla, you say you are a X-tian, but you are NOT! You are without doubt -- whether you know it or not, care or not -- a neo-con con-artist. Cross-worshipping is neo-paganism, pure and simple. Jesus-worshipping is heresy, pure and simple. Back in Jesus' days, paganism and heresy had one penalty: DEATH. Your hatred for non-crosstians would be a true disappointment to Jesus if he were alive today. What happened to "love your fellow man" and "turn the other cheek"? Oops, you neo-con con-artists would have crucified him once again or labelled him a terrorist for his beliefs. He was a man of peace, he was the most LIBERAL man of his age, he was way before his own time: He even consorted with prostitutes and even said that prostitutes would go to heaven BEFORE the rich and the powerful. Jesus would turn YOU and the likes of you OUT of his church, for YOUR CHURCH is the Church of the Devil, your "religion" a fake, bombastic evil plastic neo-paganistic self-serving bullsh*i.

Layla, you know and I know that X-tianity is nothing more than 2000 years of the biggest steaming pile of bullsh*it ever unloaded upon mankind's collective head. With the recent archeological excavations of the tomb of Jesus and his family members, as well as the recently de-classified Dead Sea Scrolls, we find that Jesus lived as a man and died as a man (just like all the Prophets died and were buried as humans). I am willing to bet 1 MILLION DOLLARS that if scientists took the Jesus DNA and matched it to the DNA taken from the tomb of Prophet Muhammad, the world would discover that these two men were cousins who descended from the same Abrahamic lineage!

Layla, If you are going to write as if you are an educated historical scholar, you need to take such criticisms as Timothy's and justify them on a level worthy of an actual reply. I do not want to enter into a discussion of the definition of "religion," but whatever your thoughts are on the matter the truth remains that just as many (if not more) have been killed in the name of Jesus as have been in the name of Muhammad. And, Islam is also a religion of Abraham. And, Islam respects Jesus as a Prophet of love. And, early Islam was in fact not allowed to forcibly convert any members of a faith that had a holy book (Christianity and Judaism, for example, and later even Hinduism qualified as religion with literature). And, it is not fair to judge Muhammad by today's standards, as in 600 AD men married girls all the time, in Europe too. And, I have no idea where the idea that he was epileptic comes from, but that doesn't even make sense.

Christianity is NOT a religion. Christianity is a relation ship with Jesus Christ. So what is your point in relationship to what I wrote? That Christianity is just as bad as other religions - if not - worse. You talk about Jesus, so if you are Christian, and I am Christian, you are very critical of a fellow believer and very legalistic. God bless you.

Well, not to upset you further, but your statement defending Christianity as a religion with less blood on its hands than Islam is laughable. You claim tens of thousands have died as result of Islamic Jihad. Six million Jews died at the hands of Hitler alone and if you think the blood of those people had nothing to do with the long history of Christian anti-semitism then you are beyond hope. When we start adding in the murders of Muslims during the Crusades, the murders of competing Christian sects in the first two centuries after Christ was crucified and let's not forget such glowing moments in the history of Christianity as the Spanish Inquisition and the burning of Jews because they were thought to be responsible for the plague (and let's not forget all those witches burned and stoned to death) and suddenly you've got at anywhere from 20 to 50 million deaths on your hands. I'd say as far as bloody religions go, Christianity will probably never be beaten.

What does that have to do with Jesus' great commission? "Go ye into all the world and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I'll bet you a dime on a dollar that Muslims won't support that part of Jesus' mandate nor will they show the same respect to him when they are aware of His most profound declaration. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the father but by me." Here is a better one still, "There is no name given under heaven among men by which you must be saved, that is the name of Jesus." Go share that with these Muslims you so aptly defend and see how many of them are still on board with your position. Btw-Jesus would not vomit at my comment, I am HIS CHILD. I am a Daughter of THE KING.

If Jesus read what you just wrote about His children He'd never stop vomiting. Do yourself a solid and get educated. The fact is that most Muslims treat Jesus with more respect in His role as one of their prophets than most Christians do in His role as lord and savior.
