Jon Stewart, Jim Cramer, Howard Stern, Anna Nicole Smith Hollywood Showdowns

Jon Stewart on the Attack

Jon Stewart has been on a rant, in best form, against Jim Cramer, host of MSNBC "Mad Money." When Cramer appeared on NBC's "Morning Show" and responded to Stewart's attack with sarcastic comments about a comedian attacking him, Jon Stewart continued sparring by airing an attack on NBC, MSNBC, and Cramer.

Stewart fired back at Cramer with a video montage of Jim Cramer making predictions on "Mad Money" that stocks would rise, followed by a chart shot showing where the stocks are now, in the gutter.

Jon Stewart launched a merciless on Jim Cramer's credibility.

The pinnacle of the face off was on the Jon Stewart Show Thursday night, where Jim Cramer and Jon Stewart met face-to-face.

I give Cramer points for his willingness to spar face-to-face with Stewart, but he came out of the sparring match decimated. Stewart stripped away all niceties and exposed Cramer's hypocrisy and the gaming and shenanigans involved in "Mad Money." Cramer had no choice but to capitulate to Jon Stewart.

Score one for social commentators. Bring out the bandages for Jim Cramer and watch for changes on MSNBC's 'Mad Money."

Howard Stern Turns Himself In

FOX News reports Howard Stern, former boyfriend and attorney of Anna Nicole Smith, turned himself in to Las Angeles police when he learned that he is being charged on 10 felony counts of conspiracy and other charges involving obtaining fraudulent prescriptions for Anna Nicole Smith.

It's not particularly shocking to learn that Anna Nicole Smith was fraudulently prescribed and obtained thousands of controlled prescription drugs. It's also no surprise that Howard Stern may be headed toward the pokey for his alleged involvement, although Stern denies any involvement.

According to TMZ, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, who issued the prescriptions, and Khristine Eroshevich are also being charged. FOX News reported back in March 2007 that Anna Nicole Smith's doctor faxed a prescription for a mixture of drugs that could have easily proven to be a deadly cocktail.
