Flip through the glossy pages of any fashion magazine and you'll see tons of ads featuring models that happen to appear as the Epitome of Perfection. Take a closer look and you'll notice that some of t
hem appear to have little to no make-up on at all. This is what so frustrates millions of women who happen not to have airbrushed quality skin in real life. But if you skim the pages and check out some of the beauty advice, you'll catch on to a few secrets, one of which is how to achieve a made-up face that doesn't appear to be that way at all.

1) SMOOTH IT ON OUT- The start of a beautifully "unmade" face is in the foundation. First you must select a shade that is closest to your own complexion. But another key to a flawless face is the combination of both concealer and foundation. If necessary, apply concealer to the hollow parts beneath the eye. MaybellineCoverstick is one terrific product to use, as it tends to blend rather seamlessly into flawed areas.

Once the concealer has been applied, go over those areas with a bit of foundation dabbed onto a make-up sponge. After this has been done, dabble a couple more drops onto your sponge and apply only to the DISCOLORED AREAS. Do not cake the entire face with foundation. The key here is in smoothing out the complexion and "filling" in where need be. Applying to the whole face will defeat the purpose. When you've finished, your face should appear to be one general shade.

2) LOOK SUN-KISSED- If you want to capture a sun-kissed appearance, this can be achieved by dusting a bit of bronzer along the "apples" of cheeks (the round sections of the cheek visible when one smiles) and along the bridge of the nose. Note that some bronzers are much more iridescent than others. Be sure that you don't go overboard with it, or your face can end up looking caky. If you're going to be indoors, you might want to skip the bronzer altogether, as it tends to look slightly different under the fluorescent lights used in many interiors.
