Being organized sets you up for success. Whether it's being organized for a class or for work, organization is important if you want do well. People often ask me how I can write articles so quickly. Some fellow freelance writers go so far as to say it's impossible to write several articles a day, but it's not. If you want to write more articles per day you must be organized. The following tips will help you to have an organized day of writing. An Organized Day of Writing Tip #1: Always Have Articles Brainstormed
At the beginning of your work week, spend part of the day brainstorming all of your articles. This not only ensures that you'll be organized for the next few days of writing, but it also allows you to write your articles faster. I prefer to keep several brainstormed topics on hand at all times. That way, I can sit down and start writing almost immediately.
An Organized Day of Writing Tip #2: Set a Goal for the Number of Articles You Want to Write
As a freelance writer, you should set goals for yourself. I usually try and think of the big picture. How much money do I want to make each month? Then I break that number down to see how many articles I will need to write each day to reach that goal. This tip helps you to stay organized by keeping you on track of how many articles you should be brainstorming and writing each week.
An Organized Day of Writing Tip #3: Decide Which Articles You Want to Do that Day
If you're like me, you can't sit down and write about any topic. You will feel like writing about different topics each day. Also, I may brainstorm several articles that revolve around the same subject, but if I stick to the same theme, I get bored so I try to have a wide variety of topics to write about each day. This keeps me organized for a day of writing by making sure I have enough articles ready to go to meet my goal and I don't spend the day flipping back and forth through my topics trying to find an article to write.
