If I had to describe Josh Grobans' Cleveland, Ohio concert on February 18, 2007 to promote his new album "Awake" in just one word that word would be phenomenal; with that word only doing partial justice to
the man with a voice that although is young conveys a maturity well beyond his years.

Groban weaves an enchantment that holds his audience captive when singing songs like "She Dances" and the Theme from Romeo and Juliet. His flawless voice tinged with a bit of sadness as he sings "February Morn" invites the listener to share in an intimate moment of the artist as he tells of a his regrets to a love. But the greatest moments of the performance are when he inspires the audience and holds them in awe with the songs "You Lift Me Up" and the song from his newest CD, "You Are Loved". In fact the song "You Are Loved" had people in the audience so moved, nearby concert goers were in tears. Groban also performed songs from his previous Cd's titled "Closer" and "Josh Groban". These songs only added to the enjoyment of the performance.

To make his performance complete,Grobans' flawless voice was enhanced not by loud echo machines or other technological gadgets. Instead his angelic voice was made even better by his multifaceted musical abilities, superb ensemble and orchestra and effective lighting which in no means detracted from his singing but merely added another dimension to an already perfect performance that was so spellbinding one could have heard a pin drop when he was singing. Grobans' display of his musical abilities is apparent not only in his beautiful voice, but also in his playing of the piano which he does beautifully and softly and his playing of the drums which he did during his third encore to the surprise and delight of the audience. The musical ensemble and orchestra blended with Groban to this the impression of a performance that was smooth and seamless.

I saw Josh Groban at the Sydney Opera House and words cannot do justice to how sublime his performance was. We certainly were blessd that it was at the Opera House as it is designed for just this kind of thing. The quality of the music and singing was flawless. The highlight for me was when he sang "To Where You Are" - it brought me to tears. I was initially hesistant to see him in concert as the cost for me was considerable. However, it was worth every cent and I wouldn't hesistate to spend that again. In fact, the joy he brought me that night was truly priceless. I would travel the ends of the earth to see him again and if it's going to take 6 years to get him back here, maybe I will just that.

I enjoyed the Adelaide show very much. It was a once in a life time opportunity for me to watch him live as i do not live in the US. Been waiting 6 years for this! I was of course sad that he didn't sing much from the first two albums because they were my favs. Yes, I REALLY wanted him to sing "When you say you love me"...I still remember myself swooning over the tv when he sang that on Oprah (to her best friend Gayle)

I saw Josh in concert at the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, October 2007 and it was truly awesome! My only disappointment was that Josh didn't sing many songs from his earlier CDs. I hope that if he returns in the future, he sings some earlier songs like "When You Say You Love Me."

The concert in Charlotte NC was incredible, unbelievable, inspiring, enchanting and so compassionate beyond words. Josh not only has a voice that is breath taking, his rapport and genuine personality speaks beyond words. It was outstanding. My son was amazed, and knows every Italian word in Josh's CD's and it was an incredible concert.

My wife and I were disappointed as well. The only songs we enjoyed were You Are Loved to start with, and You Raise Me Up to end. February Song would have been nice, except for the distortion mentioned and the fact that there was too much noise going on in the background from the orchestra and other musicians.

I have just been to one of Josh's concerts in Vancouver. Frankly I was dissapointed. The show was awesome, but the sound was terrible. I could make out maybe 5% of the words due to the distortion of the sound at high volume. It was NOT value for money.

Oh, for cryin' out loud, Maria. Can't you just enjoy a great review without picking it apart?! I can understand the song title corrections, but GRAMMAR (which, ahem, you misspelled!)??! Oh, and you used a semi-colon in the word "isn't" when the proper punctuation mark would be a apostrophe.... SHEEESH. James, thank you for a very pleasant reading experience!!

Sorry my comment got cut off! My final criticism is when you were describing the attentiveness of the crowd; it isn;t possible to hear a pin drop if Groban's singing. Again, I enjoyed your article; it must have been a great concert! Keep up the good work!

Overall, I enjoyed your review of the Josh Groban concert; I personally can't wait until he comes to my area! I find him to be a great talent and agree that his voice is as beautiful as you describe. However, I'd like to offer some friendly criticism. It's important when submitting any written assignment to check it for spelling, grammer and cohesiveness. I think you were missing a couple of commas, although I can't say for sure, seeing as I tend to over use the little thing! A few sentences did not make sense, like "The musical ensemble and orchestra blended with Groban to this the impression of a performance that was smooth and seamless." Another tip is make sure your facts are correct. The song titles you mentioned are "February Song" and "You Raise Me Up," not "February Morn" and "You Lift Me Up." Also, "You Raise Me Up" is off of Groban's previous album, Closer, so that was already a song played from earlier work. A final criticism is when you were describing the attentiv
