Earth Day Poem
This is About Earth Day in a Round-about Way
Earth inside the perceptionContracted out from all sides
rotating in a linear fashion
before the wars, before the words
Earth outside in an inexhaustible
burn of pressure turning microscopes
inside-out zooming in on lunar churning
like a cement mixer builds a house
Before this Earth seemed to be flat
now it just seems to be flattening out
and what distinguishes green from blue
is the same, just they speak differing currents
Earth from the inside seen the moon
rise above the sky and seen the sun
go from one extreme to another
like a magnet to its opposite
Earth day is celebrated throughout
the world, but is it true some other
world celebrates its day, and if so
how many candles should they lite.
It cost 60, 000, 000 to save a dying language.
