A Review of Highlands Ranch High School Near Denver, CO

Highlands Ranch consists of four high schools, all that can be considered "outstanding." They all have a superb teaching staff, outstanding sports programs, and modern campuses. The first of these High Schools was Highlands Ranch High School.

The staff at Highlands Ranch is caring and experienced. Many of the teachers have been at Highlands Ranch for an excess of twenty years! The teachers are caring towards their students, and are always willing to spend extra time with a student if they have the time. Most of the teachers have had enough experience to have very effective teaching methods. There are, of course, always the new teachers, that are developing their teaching methods. But for the most part, the school consists of seasoned teachers.

The campus at HRHS is very modern, although it is the oldest campus in Highlands Ranch. The other schools in Highlands Ranch may have more professional and up-to-date looking campuses though. The HRHS campus has gone through many changes, including an eighteen million dollar renovation four years ago. It is a very comfortable campus, students get to know the school very quickly, and hardly ever have any complaints about it.

The HRHS sports programs are in abundance. They have everything from Swimming, Volleyball, Football, Baseball, Soccer, Basketball, Wrestling, Tennis, Cross Country, Inline Hockey, Ice Hockey, Rugby and many others. All of these sports come with experienced coaches and well organized staff. Student athletes recieve quality training in every sport and can look to go very far in their spors career by playing for HRHS in any of the sports or activities.
While all of the schools in Highlands Ranch share similar attributes. Highlands Ranch High School has been around the longest and remains one of the top rated high schools in Colorado. It also consistenly has some of the highest ACT scores in the state.
