Another Review Where I Never Really Talk About the Movie

There are a lot of good reasons for why you haven't seen Primer yet. It's hard to follow, it's shot on a very small budget (right around seven thousand dollars), and you won't recognize a single actor in it. Despite that, I'm very late in the game when it comes to putting my thoughts in print on this World Wide Web of ours. You've heard this cliche before but this is one of those movies that seem to really divide people right down the middle. They either love it and can't stop talking about it or they hate it and want you to shut up about it. I've experienced this in my own life. I've got very close friends who took every chance to push it, to make sure I was there when it hit DVD. Our local Blockbuster video had two copies and they were rented every time I checked. For a whole month I waited. Then I watched it. All seventy-eight minutes of it. And then the credits rolled. (By the way, when the same guy writes, directs, edits, produces, scores the music for, and co-stars in the movie, the credits are fairly short as well.). You're going to find reading my writing is a lot like talking to me. I get off on side notes and tangents. The good thing about writing though, is that I can get back around to what I really cared so much to tell you about instead of sitting at my desk at work the next day wondering why in the name of all things bright and beautiful did I get off on that little waste of time and not tell you the thing I had thought you might actually think was funny/interesting/compelling/cool.
