There are many places to to eat in the restaurant capital per capita so let's skim the surface...

If you desire Chinese then I suggest the following: Fu Yi Chinese, Holland Township where the lunch portions include soup as the meal. For dinner you will get a bigger meal portion but you will have to add a charge for soup. Then if you are looking for the best buffet style, then I suggest you attend: Gourmet of China, Maumee. If you want good food and authentic atmosphere, look no further than Jing Chuan Restaurant, Toledo.

After you have enjoyed your meal you will probably want to enjoy Desert. Why not try Schmucker's Homemade Pies, with several Toledo locations. Or Wixey Bakery (Toledo) where there is an assortment of deserts ready to select or you can pre-order the desert of your choice to insure its readiness. On a hot summer day enjoy the local stop of Lickity Split (Seasonal), Toledo. Another favorite local stop of mine is Penguin Palace (Seasonal), Maumee. I would be remiss if I did not add to the selection: Toozer's Time Out (Seasonal), Maumee.

If you desire Italian Style then I suggest the following: Biaggi's in Perrysburg. A very attractive menu. Biaggi's is surrounded by several shops that are great to review either before your meal while waiting for your reservation or after your meal for a conclusion to your evening's events. Bravo Cuccina Italiana is very party friendly. Not only is the food terrific but this restaurant is part of the biggest mall in Toledo, so many other attractions are near-by. The Spaghetti Warehouse is located in downtown Toledo in the warehouse district. If you like warehouses as much as I do then you will want to make this Warehouse a place of choice. Carrabba's Italian Grill located in Maumee and is part of a restaurant chain.

If you desire Middle Eastern then I suggest the following: The Grape Leaf Dinner, Holland; where you will find great taste for a great price.

If you desire a Well Rounded Menu then I suggest: Elephant Bar and Restaurant it too is part of the biggest mall in Toledo. When Elephant Bar opened in Toledo; it's location was the only location East of the Mississippi.

Free Food? Yeah, you can also call taco bell and complain about your "messed up order" and say you already lost your reciept. They replace meals.

Holy Toledo you did Toledo proud. More resturants per capita then anywhere in the USA. It's an epicuian adventure on a daily basis.

People who work at the docks...your attention! There is a woman named Misty who will come in and complain about the service if she eats in, or if it's take-out she will complain that it's wrong. She will do this several times. IT IS A SCAM.....SHE ONLY WANTS FREE FOOD AND WILL KEEP DOING IT AS LONG AS YOU ALLOW HER. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!
