Close Your Eyes and Drift Away to One of the 7 Best Fantasy Movies

I've heard the phrase "Fantasy Movie" quite often lately and most people were using that word to refer to Lord of the Rings or Star Wars. If you ask me, those are not fantasy movies at all. The best definition I can come up with for a fantasy movie is this: A fantasy movie is one where the characters are taken away into a make believe world that is beyond their wildest dreams! The characters in the movies below are all living normal lives in "our world" and through a series of events they are taken into a make believe or Fantasy World. The characters in the Lord of the Rings or Star Wars are not from "our world" to begin with. Those movies are written about a make believe world and all the characters in those movies are just living their make believe lives.... do you understand the difference? If not read my list and it might make more sense!!!

I love fantasy world movies because it gives me a chance to picture magical lands and places that I could only dream about. It opens your mind to the possibility of other worlds that are much more fun then our own!
