Not to say that I wouldn't want the man to be president. He does, after all, seem like a reasonable individual. But I shouldn't judge people by what I see them do on CNN or Fox News. It's senseless, and in this orgy of glory-fueled ambition that is the 2008 Presidential Race, it's hard to take anyone seriously. So I won't begin to speculate on the inner workings of the man or what kind of President he would make. After all, we should all know that "the issues" propagated by Candidates change very rapidly given their popularity - or lack there of. Bush pledged election reform in 2000, then stole the election in one of the most blatantly fraudulent public spectacles in our nation's history. It should be noted as well that Bush has become more of a "divider", and not so much a "uniter". And who's to say Obama would be any different?

what do you mean "if he is black"?

Obama is a amercian so why does he have any intrest in helping our country. He has the black comunity fooled and all who backs him up. I myself will not vote for him just because he is black, if he realy is. We have to live four years with our vote. The people that he appoints to the White house will be very hard to get out. We have to give large companies tax breaks in order to keep our people employed. we have to take control of our own lives and stop putting the blame on the past or our enviorment. Some people keep stiring the pot and making everyone think that we have racial problems just so they can get rich off of it. we have to change within oursevles.

I am quite concerned for this election. Barack Obama seems to be very intelligent and speaks as though he knows his stuff but my concern is in his lack of experience. I was a republican voter. Unhappy with the way our economy is and the careless lack of concern for our countries issues that John McCain shows, I believe I will vote Democrat. I was going to vote for Hillary Clinton without hesitation. I am scared that we'll get in trouble with Obama. But I guess we already are in trouble. My decision would be easier if Obama chose Clinton as his running mate.

Actually Mr. Obama is quite aware of dirty politics and idealist enough to believe he can change that. I do think he is crazy to risk his life to serve the people (see "Modern Day Super Hero" comment)and feel for his wife who would prefer a more sedate family life. Obama is not after "fame" he is a caring individual in touch with everyday people of all colors and wants to serve us.

Obama equals Evil in Disguise

I hear you loud and clear. Elvis may have to leave the Whitehouse if those Clintons get back in. After arrogant Hillary used Coretta King's funeral as a campaign opportunity I doubt that she has the following she thinks she does. As for Obama's experience, I don't think much of his education and experience comes out in the media since they're so focused on figuring out his race. They started so early, money may become a challenge and John Edwards is lurking in the background.
