What Vince McMahon and the WWE Can Do to Prepare for the Autopsy Results of Andrew "Test" Martin

Even before the autopsy results come back for Andrew "Test" Martin, Vince McMahon and the WWE should prepare for the worst. One suggestion of prep that I have is that they should prepare to point out that in Andrew "Test" Martin's last stint in the WWE (2006-2007), he was suspended for a violation of the WWE's Wellness Program. He tested positive for either steroids or pain killers in a random test and was disciplined. During the suspension, he was subsequently let go from the company. Martin later stated that he had asked for his release.

Vince McMahon and the WWE should also prepare to point out the fact that the number of Wellness Program violations have decreased in the last year in the main roster for the company. It should be pointed out that the main roster has finally gotten the clue that these violations are not tolerated. Most of the suspensions in the last year have been from developmental contract wrestlers, not the big names.

Vince McMahon and the WWE should also point out the current push in the company to gear their type of entertainment to a younger generation. The WWE and Vince McMahon should press the fact that there is no place for steroids, pain killers, or drugs in programming that is geared towards children. Gone are the days of the Vince McMahon suicide angle. They should point out that they are in the business of making heroes, not losers.

Another opportunity that Vince McMahon and the WWE have to beat the autopsy results of Andrew "Test" Martin would be to announce that all wrestlers will be taking random tests immediately under the Wellness Program. They should point out that there is great risk on doing this so close to Wrestlemania since most of the plans with the wrestlers are close to being set in stone.

Vince McMahon and the WWE are hoping that the autopsy results of Andrew "Test" Martin do not besmirch the reputation of the company. I strongly suggest that if they have not planned ahead for the worst, then they must do so right now. The autopsy results for Andrew "Test" martin are going to come out soon right around Wrestlemania. The time should be spent enjoying the festivities, not fighting a media backlash.
