It's that time of the week and you are looking for the best family dining in San Diego. This could be a chore since family night out is a big deal for most families. It's a time for everyone to relax, enjoy a good meal out, and have a little fun. Going to restaurants that cater to families with small children makes things more comfortable for everyone involved. This article will review the restaurants offering the best family dining in San Diego.

An all time favorite and a fun place to go is Tower Two Beach Café located at 5083 Santa Monica Avenue in San Diego. The owner of this cozy beachfront restaurant clearly took things to a child friendly level by creating a kid's corner in the restaurant with entertainment items, and having a patio table especially designed for the younger set. The food is great and reasonably priced with a full meal beginning at about $10.00. Tower Two Beach Cafe is opened for business Monday through Thursday from 8:00AM to 8:00PM, and on Friday and Saturday from 8:00AM to 9:00PM. For more information call 619-223-4059 or stop in for a visit and find out why they are known as one of the spots for the best family dining in San Diego.

Another great hangout is the Corvette Diner located at 3946 5th Ave in the Hillcrest area of San Diego. This cool diner is decorated 50's style with picture of the movie stars from the 50's, classic Corvettes, and lots of chrome. The place is pretty much decorated like one of the diners in the old "Happy Days" show. There are a lot of neon lights, a jukebox, and one of the most fun environments ever for families with young kids or teens. The food is excellent. They are pretty competitive with the best on their burgers of which they have named after some of the old stars from the Gidget and 77 Sunset Strip films. There is an "Eddie Burger," a "Kookie Burger," and a "Dion Burger."
