A Review of Confirm Clearly: The Most Unreliable Pregnancy Test Out There

I have been trying to get pregnant for nearly 2 years. I have Luteal Defect Disorder, which causes my body not to create progesterone, a hormone necessary for becoming pregnant. I have had three miscarriages this year, and have been on many different medications to get my progesterone level up. It isn't fun, let me tell you.

I have been going to Long Island IVF to try to correct my disorder. No, I'm not getting In-vetero Fertilization... We're just trying to correct the disorder with progesterone, clomid and other drugs. I am monitored very closely by the doctors and nurses there. So, when my Lh surged, my husband and I were told to "try naturally" because we didn't want the IUI (insemenation) of IVF.

SO, we did. Two weeks later, I purchased the new Confirm Clearly test at Wal*Mart, because I couldn't handle the wait any longer. The digital pregnancy test came with two test strips. I went home and tested my urine. I was SO happy when the test came up positive that I started crying like an idiot. I wanted to show my husband, who was at work, so I took the test, grabbed my purse, locked the door behind me and went outside.

Then, I realized that I locked my keys in the house. I called my mother, still crying, but couldn't get in touch with her. I left her a message to call me. So, I called my in-laws, who also have a key to the house, and still crying. When my mother-in-law asked me what was wrong, I couldn't help but blurt out "I'm pregnant!" So, she starts crying on the phone, too. She knows everything that we have been through. At this moment, my own mother beeps in. I get off of the phone with my Mother-in-law, and tell my mother that I locked myself out of the house. She asks me what is wrong, and I tell her that I'm pregnant. She, too, starts crying. She rushes over to get me inside.
