Living the life of a full time psychic is probably one of the hardest things that you could ever be. I say this because the psychic gift is something that most people find to be interesting at first, but then very draining later one. A full time psychic has to put all of their focus onto their client's questions and really examine what they are seeing for them. The life of a full time psychic is not easy and at times you may feel as though you are not getting anything right at all.

The best way to do a psychic reading is to allow your thoughts and sixth sense to roam freely. The mind can be a powerful tool for anyone to follow because it usually entails someone thinking that they know a lot. The psychic mind is something that most people get scared of. Most people think that the psychic mind is weak, but when you ask psychics, then they will tell you that a psychic thought is something that most people find to be most intriguing. The psychic mind has great power in it and sometimes you have to be strong in trying to understand it. The psychic mind has to be adjusted from time to time in order to understand where God may be taking you. The mind is something that most people find to be difficult to understand. We have to learn about our minds through others and you have to see for yourself that your mind has great power in it.

Having God as your center is good advise for everyone not just psychics. I also find that meditation helps me a great deal to stay focused and to recharge. I think being psychic should be a part of who you are, not the ALL of who you are. My advise for you is to try to find balance in your life and to remember you do not need to help everyone immediately. There are other psychics out there to share the load.

Just a thought to share: A few years ago, when I was working as an underwriter, I had to make a phone call to find out more information. The woman who answered the phone was a psychic, and before we hung up, she told me "a tall, handsome man who loves you will knock on your door tonight." It turned out to be my brother. Now, how cool is that?

I would have enjoyed the article more had you listed a day's activities and went one step further in order for the layperson to fully understand what, exactly, you mean by 'draining' you of strength. An example or sampling of the kind of readings you do would have been helpful. Try to think of your audience as students you are teaching if you want them to understand you.

I've always been afraid to go into a psychic place...so intimidating, probably because my mind is conjuring up some brutal looking hag meticulously mixing the bones of small animals, small bulbous eyes of a newt, and bat entrails and then forcing me to consume them in order to gain access to my future! Tell me it ain't so!

I'm not saying I don't agree with you, because I do, but you do realize that you can say no sometimes right? It's not rude, it's just you have to look out for your own well being too, you can't constantly say "Oh, ok, even though I'm tired, I guess I can do a reading for you". You're not going to perform at your best if you're exhausted. Even "full time psychics" need a break, just like anybody else.

This is the real deal. I have been a professional reader for 15 years (my whole life too) and it can be VERY draining. It can also give you some of the greatest rewards ever. God must be center of it all, absolutely. Knowing the fact that God is too big to be put into any one Church is also an important aspect. Realizing that if God created us all in His Image frees us to greater acceptance of All. Way to go!!
