Here is the color correspondence of each of the five feng shui elements:
WOOD: Green, Brown
FIRE: Red, Strong Yellow, Orange, Purple
EARTH: Light Yellow, Sand/Earth, Light Brown
METAL: White, Gray
WATER: Blue, BlackThe right placement of colors is defined by the Ba-Gua, or the energy map of your space.
For example, the energy of the South area is associated with your Fame & Recognition. The element of South is Fire, and the colors related to it are Red, Purple, Yellow and Orange. You should not bring Blue or Black colors to the South area of your space (Water puts down the Fire.)
Green is very healing in improving health and balancing family life when used in the East.
Blue is very good in the North to support your career plans or in the East (Health/Family) and Southeast (Prosperity/Abundance) to water/nourish the Wood element.
Add yellow in the South for happy gatherings and good times.
Add pure white in the West to support your creative endeavors.Clutter
Feng shui wisdom places a big importance on the center of your place, also called the Heart of the Home, or the Tai Chi point. It is a sacred place from which all other energies of your home originate. Keeping it clean, open, and clutter-free at all times is a must for a healthy and harmonious home.
Ideally, you would start applying feng shui cures after releasing most of the clutter from your environment. Living in a clutter-free home will bring amazing clarity and heightened energy levels into your life. It will also make space for new and better things to come to you!
