Working from home is already an enjoyable experience for most people. After all, who wouldn't love being able to stay home rather than sitting in traffic a couple hours each day? Granted it is easy to become distracted at home. But, working from home is something that should be treasured by those who are lucky enough to have this option. If you're finding that working from home isn't as enjoyable as it once was, the following tips will help bring back that feeling you once had when you first started working from home.

How to Make Working from Home More Enjoyable Tip #1: Get a Laptop

Working from home allows you to do things you weren't able to do before. You can now work in your pajamas, you can watch TV (though I don't recommend it), and you can even work wherever you want, if you have a laptop. Having a laptop means you can work from the comfort of your bed, you can work outside, and you can even take your laptop and go work at McDonalds. Working from home is much more enjoyable when you have the freedom to work where you want to.

How to Make Working from Home More Enjoyable Tip #2: Have a Work Area Setup Outside

Once you have a laptop, why not spend some time working outside? When the weather is perfect, it's so relaxing to work outdoors. Depending on where you live, the environment will be quiet, allowing you to think clearly. This is a perfect atmosphere when you are brainstorming an article. Trust me, you won't believe how soothing it is to work outside.

How to Make Working from Home More Enjoyable Tip #3: Play Music

Most companies play music, so why make your office more enjoyable by playing music while you're working? I don't suggest music that is easily distracting and begs for you to sing along. Instead stick with more laid back music. I actually like playing classical music in the background. But, there are times when I'll listen to really upbeat music to help myself type much faster, though I don't recommend this for everyone.

Wonderful Ideas Amy, I work in the small extra room at home and listen to the radio when I work. The droning on in the background helps me to concentrate better with no interuptions. Bye
