To begin your journaling journey, you need to have some basic materials. There's no need to purchase anything elaborate; all you really need is a notebook and pen or pencil. There are also plenty of journaling supplies that are available at bookstores and stationary stores such as blank journal books, gel pens, markers and stickers. Since there are no rules to journaling, as mentioned before, you can choose to express yourself in your journal however you want by adding your own personal touches. Personal photos can also be a good thing to add to a journal, as can pictures cut from a magazine or your very own drawings. Journaling tools are as individual as each one of us, so don't be afraid to experiment and find what's right for you.
