Daily News Staff Writer Rich Schapiro has written an article covering a most shocking development involving Ashley Biden. Ashley Biden who is the vice-president's youngest daughter was caught on video allegedly snorting cocaine and the White House as you might imagine is in a tizzy.

Ashley Biden is the vice-president's only child that he had with his second wife Jill.

In his article "Report: Video for sale allegedly shows Joe Biden daughter, Ashley, snorting cocaine," Schapiro goes on to say that a lawyer representing the person selling the incriminating video indicated it was being sold for $250,000.

The video shows a woman who is presumably Ashley snorting three lines of cocaine after a man has laid five lines out with a dollar bill. The lady in the video snorts one line and then lifts her head to wipe her nose.

There is a chance that this video was taken without Ashley Biden's knowledge. It is noted that the man in the picture is her boyfriend and that this event took place in a major house party in Wilmington, Delaware.

Neither the White House nor Ashley Biden had any comment. Joe Biden is currently in Chile.

Ashley Biden is a social worker for the Delaware Department of Children, Youth and Families.

This is not Ashley Biden's first bit of trouble. While a student at Tulane she got in trouble when she threw a can at a police officer at a Chicago bar.

If Ashley Biden is indeed guilty of this offense she would hardly be the first child of a high office holder to make a major mistake.

Jenna Bush, early in her father's presidency, was taken to court twice within a month on underage drinking and using someone else's valid I.D. In addition to that Jeb Bush's daughter, Noelle, had serious problems with cocaine and the problems with drug and alcohol went back inclusive of the parents.

It is not surprising that children of high profile people, especially politicians, often get into trouble because there is a lot expected of them and sometimes they just get on "overload." Additionally everything they do is highly scrutinized and documented.
