Attending church not only means you get a place to talk to GOD but a place where you are safe and can pray. I have been going to church since I was a young child and joined to the choir also. I love going to church with my parents and hearing them all sing and pray. I think it is a wonderful place to be in even if it is a few minutes. Many smaller churches you have a greater chance of being in to choir and getting to know one another a lot faster.
Many larger churches have programs for little kids and yong teens. Some people join a church because of their religion, meet friends, have a social life, getting to know their inner self, or just may have a passion for it. Church is a non-profit organization that everyone meets in to pray and hear the priest lecture about the bible. Whether you believe in the bible or not you may just want to stop in for a peaceful place to sit and think. In a church one can be baptised, married, have first communion, and receive communion.
A white candle means for children to always walk in the light. The Sacred Chrism means it is the sign of the Holy Spirit being given to the newly baptised. The white robe warned means the child is washed away of sin and they continue to walk in the light of newness. Babies and children that are baptised are dressed in white. It has been a tradition for hundreds of years. The priest or father even wears the white robes.
In my church we have people who are the most caring about their people. The church is very good with sending toys and things to the needy. Every other week I attend church and give out communion. There are many people there that do this type of work. Going to church to me is a blessing. My children get to see people care and want to be with GOD. They learn about what is going on in the world and find ways to give love. When times are tough if you believe in GOD than you should believe in faith.
