Restaurant Review of Flavors Indian Restaurant

Dallas is the home to a variety of restaurants. You can find restaurants serving all kinds of cuisine, such as Thai, Chinese, Italian, Indian etc. Indian restaurants are widely popular here, and number of Indian restaturants are increasing rapidly. Primary reason for this being that Dallas is the house to a large Asian population.

But, surprisingly, when you go to these Indian restaurants you do not find lots of Indians out there. In fact, many a times number of Americans eating in these restaurants exceed the number of Indians. This is because of the fact that Indian cuisine has been gaining popularity and acceptance (everyone knows Chicken Tikka). And also because most of these restaurants serve food in form of buffet. So, you can eat your heart out without poking a hole in your pocket.

A few days back, Dallas saw the opening of yet another Indian restaurant. It is "Flavors Indian Restaurant". Some of my friends had visited this, and they really liked it. After hearing so much good stuff about this, I was really tempted to go.

So, I decided to go there with my American friend. He seem to have developed an instant liking for Indian food, and was thrilled at the idea of Indian lunch. We went there, and were cordially greeted by the manager. We went there quite early, so restaurant was not highly occupied. Once you enter the restaurant, the first reaction that you have is that this is bigger than normal Indian restaurants. First positive thing, I thought.
