Adam "Pacman" Jones Runs Afoul of the Law

The Tennessse Titans' Star Runs to Trouble Quicker Than a Flash

Born in 1983, young Adam Jones was given the nickname "Pacman" for his tendency to drink his milk as voraciously as the character in the famous arcade game of the early 80's. I'm assuming that this drinking was done from a bottle, you would have to ask his Mother about that. The nickname stuck all the way through his college career at West Virginia and his two years in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans. Now, Pacman Jones seems determined to drink alcohol just as voraciuosly, drinking up trouble like the arcade pacman ate power pellets.

In Oct. 2003, Jones was arrested for his involvement in a bar fight in Morgantown, WV, which included the allegation of beating a man with a pool cue. You can't say this guy isn't versatile when it comes to games. On July 13, 2005, Pacman was arrested for assault and felony vandalism. On Sept. 5 2005, Jones had the Nashville, TN police called on him for throwing a fit outside a Luncheon of some sort and refusing to pay for valet service. Exactly one month later, Oct. 5, Jones was in hot water for not checking in with his parole officer.

For a little over a year, Pacman Jones was able to stay out of the crime reports in Nashville after joining the Titans. Then on Aug. 25, 2006, Jones was once again arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication in Murfreesboro, TN. A little over two months later, on Oct. 26, there was an allegation that Jones spit in the face of a Tennessee State University coed.
