After a long and bumpy road in development, Warhawk was finally released in 2007 for the Playstation 3. The multiplayer-only title immediately became a fan favorite and still maintains a strong fan base currently. However, Warhawk did come with several flaws
that hinder the experience a little bit. Here are a few fixes that Warhawk 2 can improve on from Warhawk.
More Players
Even though Warhawk supports 32-players online, some of the maps are so big that players often spend time traveling through the terrain to get through important areas. Warhawk 2 should be able to at least double the amount of players playing on one map at a time. We have already seen several Playstation 3 games like Resistance 2 (60 players) and MAG (256 players) support massive amounts of players. Thus, Warhawk 2 supporting 64+ players shouldn't be too far out of reach.
Sea Combat
In Warhawk, you can battle above the clouds with fighter jets in addition to fighting on feet or vehicles on the ground. The only element missing is sea battles. Although Warhawk has water, you will die if you touch the dangerous material. Warhawk 2 should introduce sea combat with battleships and further diversify the addicting and chaotic gameplay of the first game.
Class Based
Warhawk requires teamwork; however, most players often ignore the main objective and only play for their own individual goals. A class system of sorts like the one found in Killzone 2 should be able to fix that. Each class ought to give specialized abilities that will help out the team and the individual. They should also be awarded with extra points for performing their specific tasks to encourage teamwork.
Controls
Warhawk on the Playstation 3 had a high-learning curve. As a result, many gamers couldn't get into the game. It also didn't help that there wasn't a tutorial mode in the beginning to help players. Much of the above problems can be attributed to the complicated controls. Warhawk 2 should streamline the control setup so that players can easily jump in and start enjoying their experience.

As if Sony can't stop shooting holes in it's left foot: European and other PAL-format PlayStation 3 consoles receive slight redesign efforts at the cost of not just improved frugality, but backward compatibility changes that primarilly affect support for PS2 titles.

When the PlayStation 3 first came, you were lucky if you could find one in stores, or buy it for the actual retail price. During that time the PlayStation reached prices in the thousands on eBay, with people actually paying those prices.
