Anna Nicole Judge Larry Seidlin to Get Show
The Travesty of Justice Continues
FOX News is reporting that a source has told them that Judge Larry Seidlin, of Broward County, Florida, has been given a show on the CBS network. Details are not yet available, but apparently the suspicions of many that Judge Larry was auditioning for aAnna Nicole Judge Larry Seidlin to Get Show
The erstwhile Judge Seidlin presided over the custody case for the body of the deceased Anna Nicole Smith. During proceedings that could have been accomplished in hours that were strung out for days, Judge Larry took the whip at lead the circus. His grand finale was the crying game at the close of the hearing where he broke down more than once for the cameras. The theatrics of the judge who meandered around the details of what should have been a fairly simple case was the latest in a long string of celebrity cases that are more "entertainment" than justice.
From the O.J. Simpson case, the trend of celebrity court cases that are theater has become big time entertainment in America. With the far more important Scooter Libby trial being sent to the back of the bus so that networks could cover the "Judge Larry Show" constantly, broadcast news in America took one more step away from legitimate news coverage. The networks, the judge, and the American people who couldn't get enough of it are all to blame.
Judge Larry Seilin, originally from New York, is 56 years old. He managed to get his resume and past into national coverage, including the fact that he once drove a New York cab. He picked out nicknames for attorneys and witnesses. He never tired of rambling on about unrelated details of the case in his own self-promotion.
ABC News reported this past Thursday that his wife, Belinda Seidlin said "People who know him, and people that meet him on the street all say the same thing, 'You should have your own television show.'" She also said "I don't think him to be crazy at all." And "I find him brilliant." Now that's a supportive wife.
