Planting the Right Flowers and Herbs in your Garden: Essential Elements
Achillea Ageratum, also known as English Mace- The leaves are used in salads, meats and rice as seasoning.
Achillea Millefolium also known as Yarrow is known to staunch the flow of blood.
Agastache Foeniculm other wise known as Anise hyssop is used to help treat coughs and wheezing.
Alchemilla Xanthochlora, otherwise known as Lady's Mantle is used to help ease discomfort brought on by menopause, as well as treat diarrhea. DO NOT take while pregnant.
Allium Sativum, also known as Garlic helps with high cholesterol, bladder infection, and strep throat.
Aloe Vera (Aloe); when its gel is applied to minor burns or wounds it can help protect against infection.
Aloysia Triphylla, (Lemon Verbena), is used as an antispasmodic, antipyretic, and sedative.
Angelica Archangelica, (Angelica) is used to help colic, gas, sour stomach, and heartburn. It also is known to help cure infertility.
Anethum Graveolens, (Dill) is used to help treat flatulence, dyspepsia and stomachache.
Horseradish, (Armoracia Rusticana) is known as an antibiotic. Its root is high in vitamin C, sodium and magnesium.
Arnica Chamissions (Arnica) is most commonly used to help with indications of shock and injury.
Atemisia Annua, (Sweet Annie) is used as an antimalarial and is a natural herbicide.
