One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest will be performed at the Mabel Tainter Theater in Menomonie, Wisconsin in April of 2007. The play One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest is a play written by Dale Wasserman. One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest is going to be at the Mable Tainter Theater this spring. The Mabel Tainter Theater is a historical theater in downtown Menomonie, Wisconsin. Menomonie, Wisconsin is a hour east of Minneapolis, St. Paul, Minnesota. The Mabel Tainter Theater is going to be renovated starting in June of the year 2007 and this may be the last time you can go see the Mabel Tainter theater as it has been for many years.

The Mabel Tainter Theater is going to be renovated to look as much as possible as it did in it's hey days. The Mabel Tainter Theater is a beautiful ornate theater with original seating and stage. It is very Victorian and ornate. The Mabel Tainter Theater was started in the late l800's by Captain Andrew and Bertha Tainter. Then named the theater after their daughter Mabel how died at the age of l9.

The play One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest that is going to be shown at the Mabel Tainter Theater is going to be directed by Jeannette Peters. One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest is a play about a man named McMurphy who evades going to jail by convincing the law that he is crazy enough to need psychiatric care and is sent to a hospital for treatment instead of going to jail. Rebellion and insubordination against a oppressive bureaucracy are quickly demonstrated. Nurse Ratched becomes McMurphy's personal cross to bear as McMurphy resists the hospitals routines. McMurphy gets on nurse Ratcheds nerves quickly. This play is very entertaining and it can be seen by the whole family.
